    I hit up the dollar bin at my local comic store and scored Terry Moore's Echo, 3 issues of Rod Espinosa's Prince of Heroes, 2 issues of jeff Smith's RASL, Allred's Madman, 2 issues of Jersey Gods by Glen Brunswick and Dan McDaid (a kirby-esque young gods-type book), and Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill's League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: 1910 (I already had it, but couldn't pass it by for a buck, so it's yours this Sunday if you don't already have it.) Plus the final issue of Planetary is coming out, or so I'm led to believe by the latest Previews.

    Hey Chuck, how are things? I haven't been doing much outside of family and work. Saw Coraline, that was a good movie. Anything I should be keeping an eye out for?

    I've been reading those Dark Avengers/X-Men stuff, the writers are actually doing a good job through dialogue of explaining the clash of egos and psychosis between Osborn, Namor, Bullseye, and Sentry among others. Its not perfect by a long shot, but its interesting to watch the flow of where things are going, especially considering the Reborn series implications and the coming "event" that unfolds after that.

    However DC is putting out the best titles, Batman and Robin with Morrison and Quietly, and Wednesday Comics, a masterpiece, too bad its 3.99 for what?, twelve straight weeks. Luckily I haven't had any other titles coming in, but I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up with the series.

    Anyway, have a good one.

    I have to agree with you on the weird calls. Just would love to see more hips being thrown. It might be that so many team plays into the zone are just a dump-in anymore.
