Influences
CHUNKS draw their influnences from a wide and varied range of bands and music. From blues legends such as Robert Johnson and Ray Charles, from the grunge days of Pearl Jam and Nirvana to the country music of Neil Young and from the folk of Bob Dylan to the classic rock sounds of Led Zeppelin and The Who. These varied tastes show throughout the diversity in the sound of the band.

CHUNKS are a 3-piece rock band based in the town of Oban on the west coast of Scotland. Along the years they have appeared with bands such as The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, the Alabama 3 and the Mull Historical Society, amongst others, at various events and parties. Having played together for 10 years as Chunks, they have built up a solid and loyal fanbase all over the west of Scotland and beyond, playing all kinds of venues. They are firm favourites at the Mull Music Festival and have performed at almost every festival there for the past 8 years. The have also played the Dunstaffnage Festival both years it has been running and are booked to play the main stage in 2008 once again. The band have also been booked to play the 2008 Mull Of Kintyre Music Festival in August, keep checking the site for more updates.

PFFS VINYL 09 release no.23 "SO WACK IT HERTZ" by MAIN$TREAM It's a stunning drum n fake- multiple fakecore derailment from the inventors of FAKECORE itself! This album has all the 1990's rap samples..incredible bass, a drum n bass full on assault! Reminds us here at the institute of Truck Drivin Muzak & M$ classics such as this! After a noise album, & a metal band album it's so refreshing to hear Main$treaM RIP in full flight again. This vinyl is a TOTAL KILLER...
