Chupathingy is an 8-bit (or fakebit for you 31337ists out there) musician who specializes in making music that sounds good. It just so happens that most of it has a chip flare. The music you hear is made entirely by one person (me), and is designed strictly to have fun with; anyone not doing so will be prosecuted. Severely.
Anyways... Hello, all, I am Chupathingy. I mainly make music with FruityLoops, though I have been expanding to different programs on different electronics whose creators never really thought "Musical Instrument" would be on the list of potential uses for said electronics.
I've been actively making music since early 2000, late 2001 using the software MTV Music Generator for the Sony Playstation. One day I might put them up, but don't hold your breath.
I'd say my sound comes from years of sitting, listening and daydreaming. I can't read sheet music, I don't have any form of formal training, I barely know anything of Music Theory, and have never been to a school for music; I do have an abundance of artistic family members on both sides and have had a different band practicing in my garage since I was in diapers. (just not my own so far. :( but that could change...)
In 2005 I started using FruityLoops (at the time still known as such), and I don't know, shit just started happening.
There's an abundance of freeware plugins on the net that make finding unique sounds that much easier, so it's pretty easy to get music like this that lacks the "FruityLoops Sound" disorder..
