About me: Well, I'm a great pub on QUARRY BANK HIGH STREET in the West Midlands. I serve guest ales as well as all the usual beers etc. I've got a great landlady and landlord called Diane and Alan. They have arranged for me to have a brilliant classic rock disco every other Saturday called Bones Roadshow where all the music is on vinyl. Bones plays everything from Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath to Pink Floyd and Fairport Convention. On the Fridays and/or Saturdays in between, I have live rock bands. Every Wednesday is open mic night, (acoustic, sing or play). I've also got wide screen TV. Whatever is happening, it's always friendly with a great atmosphere. Pop in.....everyone's welcome!

Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience.
Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from June 09 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.
