Kirix	Oct 19 2009 6:57 AM There weren't...perchance,a few members attending the USS Nightmare this past weekend? I saw,saturday evening...through the hazy odd vision I get in the Nurse mask,four gentlemen happen through in rather splendid attire which appeared beatifully steamy. They seemed to perk up as well(from their cringing,had to be repulsive when steampunks show up,harrumph)when I noticed the third in the line wearing brass coloured goggles and said 'ooh,steampunks'. In any case,I think you ought to plan a steamy trip to the boat. It was a STEAMboat afterall.

Kirix	Jul 30 2009 7:53 AM I would like,my fellow steampunks of the most likely not able to go to Steamcon/Dragoncon sort of event type,to suggest an event for the Autumn months. Last year I and a small crew invaded the Ohio Renn. Faire in Steam garb,the reaction of the staff was spectacular and acting perplexed by things was fun for everyone. A similar event is being held August 1st up in New York by the legendary Jaborwhalky. I endorse starting our own offshoot of the Time-Traveller's Picnic. What say you? (Also,I met Mr.V.M.Dantes and Laurilye Hutchinson of the Outlanders-it was wonderful.They're lovely.)
