Chanteuse Cindy Doire, has been extensively sharpening her craft as a songstress and performer since the release of her debut album; La Vie en Bleu. With this record, she presents us an interpretation of inspiring French jazz/folk music that unleashes a traveling French melody. She takes her listeners on a migration passage that tours from a north-American sound to the Parisian cafés and cabarets. Through her love and study of modern languages, Cindy has learned to express herself in three of the major languages of the Americas; French, English and Spanish. With her linguistic knowledge, she has taken her music to the streets and clubs around the world performing to various crowds with her universal aptitude as a songwriter.
Cindy successfully launched her full length album entitled La Vie en Bleu in the spring of 2007. Recorded in Toronto, Ontario with plenty of musical talent taking part, her inspirations and elegantly portrayed realizations were solidified with this astonishing break out CD. From flirtatious love songs to protesting tales that depict modern and traditional woe, Cindy Doire’s La vie en Bleu delivers an inventive sound that dances back and forth across borders.
While transcending stubbornness for describing relentless beauty and sorrow, Cindy Doire inadvertently displays her appreciation of her musical predecessors that have come before her. From Françoise Hardy to Janis Joplin, English and French artists alike have all had a profound effect on her music. On stage, Cindy reveals charm and vulnerability combined with boldness and intensity. Her performance is alluring and precise, demanding everyone’s notice. Her vocal diversity ranges from her seductively sweet voice that is captured on La Vie en Bleu to a soulful sultry blues style that resonates from the richness of her northern roots all the way down through the Deep South.
Cindy Doire embraces her music and strives to express her unique vision. She has presented her debut CD cross Canada through a series of concerts and festivals and intends to continue to do so nationally and internationally. She is already preparing for her next album which she intends on recording songs in both French and English. Cette jeune dame, fière de ses petites chansons rythmées, se sent aujourd’hui prête à suivre le trajet qui se dessine à partir de son premier album ; La Vie en Bleu.
Toujours inspirée par la beauté du verbe et la liberté que permet l’expression artistique, l’artiste franco ontarienne tient à présenter son --uvre à la francophonie au sens large. Les prochains mois s’affichent déjà comme assez chargés et mouvementés. Elle entamera la promotion de La Vie en Bleu dans son coin de pays en Ontario. Par la suite, elle planifie de prendre d’assaut la Belle Province.
La langue française, ne peut à elle seule rendre justice , à l’expérience inoubliable que nous sommes appelés à vivre en entrant dans le monde de « La Vie en Bleu » . Ce monde parallèle et envoûtant qu’est le son du Nord, nous est transmis ici par cette messagère qui nous offre sa poésie à travers sa jolie voix aux modulations sensibles, soutenue par les douces vibrations de sa guitare. Au c--ur du processus créateur de l’album , et à travers toutes les étapes de production, Cindy Doire a su y mettre ses efforts ainsi que son courage et sa détermination sans égal, en demeurant en contrôle du projet. Cindy a su illuminer cet enregistrement par tout ce qu’elle est : une personne sensible et vraie, doublée d’une artiste complète et autonome. Bref, avec « La Vie en Bleu », Cindy Doire nous invite à nous éloigner de la banalité et à tendre l’oreille à sa trame sonore musicale intérieure.
