Native de Timmins dans le Nord de l’Ontario, cette jeune artiste à la voix riche et unique, qui invente les mélodies les plus oniriques et émouvantes, charme tout en douceur. Son folk aux inflexions de jazz évoque les anciens cabarets feutrés, les lumières tamisées et la nostalgie des confidences chuchotées. Naturelle, authentique et guitare à la main, l’artiste chante les notes de son quotidien, la poésie des intérieurs humains et la beauté de moment présent. Cette auteur-compositrice-interprète nous interpelle vivement par sa vision artistique d’une chanson française douce et spontanée. Dotée d’un charme naturel indéniable, Cindy réussit sur scène (et sur disque) à nous démontrer une confiance inébranlable en son œuvre.
En 2007, Cindy a composé, produit et mis en marché son premier opus La Vie en Bleu. L’album a obtenu un succès critique enviable et a suscité des réactions chaleureuses de la part du public. Depuis son lancement Cindy sillonne les provinces et sait aller chercher de vastes publics enjoués tout en demeurant elle-même en grâce, sincérité musicale et douceur. De Trenton à St-Hyacinthe, en faisant halte à Québec, Nouvelle Écosse et Terre Neuve, cette jeune dame de scène se fait connaître de salle en salle, récoltant applaudissement et rappels. À l’international, on l’a vue en Angleterre, en France et en Amérique du Sud dans diverses salles de spectacles et cabarets. Récemment, en plus de développer sa carrière solo, elle a pris part à la distribution de la revue musicale Les Héritiers de Champlain (Productions Sano, mise en scène d’André Perrier) qui l’a propulsé en tournée au Canada français.
En effet, profitant de l’attrait que suscite toujours La Vie en Bleu et inspirée par la beauté du verbe et la liberté que permet l’expression artistique, l’artiste franco ontarienne entame déjà le lancement de son deuxième album, Chapeau de Pluie. Pour ce projet, Cindy Doire a confié la réalisation de l’album au réalisateur canadien de grande expérience et renommée Colin Linden. Avec son deuxième album, l’artiste manie agilement langue, musicalité des mots, esthétique parolière et contenu. Ses textes rendent le quotidien poétique et révèlent une personne vraie, sensible et forte qui confie, sans trop de pudeur, l’accès à sa trame musicale intérieur. Ce nouvel album marque une maturation de talent de l’artiste.

Chanteuse Cindy Doire, has been extensively sharpening her craft as a songstress and performer since the release of her debut album in 2007; La Vie en Bleu. This year, Cindy launched her second record Chapeau de Pluie which was recorded in Nashville with the great Canadian producer Colin Linden. With these records, she presents us an interpretation of inspiring French country/folk jazz music that unleashes a traveling French melody. She takes her listeners on a migration passage that tours from a north-American sound to the Parisian cafés and cabarets. Through her love and study of modern languages, Cindy has learned to express herself in three of the major languages of the Americas; French, English and Spanish. With her linguistic knowledge, she has taken her music to the streets and clubs around the world performing to various crowds with her universal aptitude as a songwriter.
Cindy successfully launched her full length album entitled La Vie en Bleu in the spring of 2007. Recorded in Toronto, Ontario with plenty of musical talent taking part, her inspirations and elegantly portrayed realizations were solidified with this astonishing break out CD. This record got her MFM nominations for Best Album, Best Songwriter and Best vocal performance. She also won Meilleur Decouverte at the Gala des Prix Trille Or. From flirtatious love songs to protesting tales that depict modern and traditional woe, Cindy Doire's La vie en Bleu delivers an inventive sound that dances back and forth across borders. Her second album (CHapeau de PLuie) has already won her Songs From The Heart (OCFF). She will touring extensively this year promoting and getting ready for her English record.
On stage, Cindy reveals charm and vulnerability combined with boldness and intensity while transcending stubbornness for describing relentless beauty and sorrow. Her performance is alluring and precise, demanding everyone’s notice. Her vocal diversity ranges from her seductively sweet voice that is captured on La Vie en Bleu to a soulful sultry blues style (chapeau de pluie) that resonates from the richness of her northern roots all the way down through the Deep South.
Cindy Doire embraces her music and strives to express her unique vision. She has performed cross Canada through a series of concerts and festivals; Mariposa Folk Festival, Toronto Jazz Festival, Francofolie de Montreal, Festival de Folk de Quebec, Festival international de Granby, Ottawa Blues Festival, Franco-Fete de Toronto, Festival International de Trois Riviere, etc... She is already preparing for her third album which she intends on recording songs in both French and English. With her boot stompin’ stance and temptress demeanor, Cindy will continue to prosper as a writer, musician and promises to remain a faithful troubadour through her musical endeavors.
Cindy, we listened to your album quite a bit on tour when we were driving. It made us want to be in some cozy restaurant drinking wine and eating chocolate instead of driving all over the darn country! We had a great time though. Just getting back from traveling since August and my head is starting to clear from the chaos of the tour. It was a true honour singing with you back in October.
