About me: (A quick note to all who have the profile 'The Real Cindy Sheehan' as a friend. This was my site and I miss my friends. It was hacked into and I no longer have access to the page, despite repeated requests for a new password. This is my new official site.)
I am a 50 year old mother of four whose oldest son, Casey, was killed in Iraq on 04/04/04. My other children are: Carly,27; Andy 24; and Janey 22. Janey is having my first grandchild, Jonah, in May with her partner, Jon.
In August of 2005, I went to Crawford, Tx to confront George Bush and ask him "What Noble Cause?" did he kill my son Casey for in Iraq. Since then I have been one of the foremost peace activists in the world.
In July of 2007, I decided to run for Congress in San Francisco against Nancy Pelosi who is the failed Speaker of the House because the occupation of Iraq has become worse since the Dems have regained both houses of Congress and she refused to hold GWB accountable for all of his crimes since stealing the White House in 2000.
I am running unaffiliated with any political party and our slogans are: People Before Politics and Let's Make a Difference.
Who I'd like to meet: People serious about PEACE! Every registered voter in California's 8th District and everyone who isn't registered so we can sign them up to vote for me in November.
