I try to check out Tony's wonderful pictures of the Lake District of England every day. He's a wonderful man. After following his work for years, this is the first chance we've had to hear his voice and see his face. Hello Tony!
I'm on MySpace??? Never thought that would happen. But there's a lot of friends camped out on here, so I thought I would join them.
So, HELLO!
I'm involved in music of all sorts, but mostly dulcimer music and Celtic music. I was a member of the band Sweetwater for nearly 22 years. Sadly, we broke it up in March of 2008. We had a blast, traveling about and doing our wild and wacky stuff. We made a lot of good friends through our music, and visited places I never would have gotten to go to on my own.
Radio! After nearly 19 years away from it, I'm back again on WYSO, doing a celtic show. The show, The Dear Green Place, airs on Saturdays at 3pm EST. You can listen in at: www.wyso.org. If you are a celtic musican, I'd love to hear from you. Everyone else too....
I've also started a MySpace page for the show - so please go to: www.myspace.com/thedeargreenplace and become a friend there too!
Who I'd like to meet: Check out this new song from Trace Adkins....it's wonderful.
Hi Cindy. Up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire is just one of those odd English sayings. The wooden hill is the staircase and Bedfordshire is bed. As for Brian McNeill I have found a MySpace page for him which olny started last month. I'll send you a link. I have nearly 400 link to put on my page. When they are on, people can look down the list, read the description and try the ones they fancy. I have designed a way of putting new contacts on easily so that updates will be quicker. Anyway I hope that all is well with you. Stay well, Ken.
Thanks you, Cindy - you sure know how to celebrate, and I think we covered everything on your list! Blessings to you; it was great finally meeting you this year and hearing your music. I look forward to seeing you on the road somewhere in 2008!
Hi Cindy. How are things with you. Too busy to work on the Sweetwater page I see. I thought by now you would have uploaded some music. I would like to hear some. Anyway look after yourself, Ken
Hi Cindy. Glad you accepted my friendship request. Please check out my other friends. There are a lot of good artists among them that I think you will enjoy. And the list is growing. Good luck, Ken.
Hi Cindy:
Thanks for the Add. We miss you guys! We've been making some music with a group of friends about every other month, jamming and eating (usually grilled meat). Stop by at my space for a visit sometime.
