Beethoven, Bach, Mozart and Vivaldi are my favorites to play on the piano. When I play guitar, I love to do songs by Carlene Carter, Dolly Parton, Roseanne Cash, Rodney Crowell, Nicolette Larsen, Sarah McLaughlin, Lucinda Williams, etc. or my originals. | | Movies | The Sound of Music, West Side Story, Oklahoma, Chicago, South Pacific, Mamma Mia, Beyond the Sea, The Wizard of Oz, My Fair Lady; almost any kind of musical. (or live music theatre) I also really, really like Robert Downey, Jr., Bruce Campbell or Russell Crowe in ANYTHING. | | Television | I don't watch much TV except for the History Channel, Weather Channel, USA Channel (Psych & Burn Notice) or the earliest black & white Andy Griffith Shows-I especially love those with the Darling Family-aka-the Dillards. Talk about awesome musicians!! | | Books | History, especially Civil War books; the Harvard Dictionary of Music; any book written by my brother-in-law, Carlton Stowers of Cedar Hill, TX. | | Heroes | Firemen because what they do is so dangerous and they don't get the recognition they deserve! |
