EtkilendikleriThe moon, the stars and the prairie wind, the spirit within, the spirit without, love and life, the haunting musical sounds of Appalachia, the brilliance, purity and romance of classical, the deep-in-my-bones stirring of the blues, old Gospel tunes, The Carter Family, Joyce Andersen, Christine Kane, Gillian Welch, Annie Gallup, Kris Delmhorst, Jackson Browne, too many more to mention, Luna and Leila and everyone I've ever loved
Neye Benziyor? Some say just me, but some say some things I do remind them of Dar Williams, Kimmie Rhodes, or Christine Kane when I sing, Eastern European or gypsy music when I play my fiddles.

   Hakkımızda Cindy Novelo
Contact: cindynovelomusic AT gmail.com **************************************************************************Cindy Novelo is a musician and singer/songwriter from Vinland, Kansas. Classically trained, Cindy was a long-standing member of the National Symphony of Costa Rica. She has performed across the U.S, in Europe and Latin America and has been a frequent supporting musician for many internationally acclaimed singer/songwriters, including Antje Duvekot, David LaMotte, Don Conoscenti and Johnsmith. Novelo’s first solo album "Stone's Throw" blends her classical training with her deep love of folk music into haunting interpretations of traditional tunes and soulful original compositions. Her unique sound inspired producer Tom Prasada-Rao to coin a new term for her music – Appalachian Classical. Praise for Stone’s Throw: "When Cindy's bow hits the strings I am captivated. Her tone is intoxicating, and her phrasing makes me weep." ~Tom Prasada-Rao, Producer and Singer/Songwriter - Dallas, Texas “Cindy Novelo speaks through her viola, fiddle & guitar with passion, tenderness and magic. Her playing on The Water is Wide brings me to tears...” ~Kelley Hunt, Blues Musician, Composer and Singer/Songwriter - Lawrence, KS “Cindy Novelo, a beautiful player on both viola and violin, has unwrapped further gifts for us all on her new CD, "Stone's Throw". This collection of songs blends Appalachian, classical, a bit of Celtic and old-time into a tuneful and tasteful collection to woo any heart.” ~Sharon Bousquet, Singer/Songwriter - Fairfield, Iowa **************************************************************************Workshops: Cindy's years of performance experience, her passion for teaching and over ten years of healing and yoga study have led Cindy to create a variety of workshops, including specially designed courses in body awareness and relaxation for musicians and workshops in which participants explore the connection between creativity and spirituality. She has been on faculty at the esteemed Swannanoa Gathering in Asheville, NC, during Contemporary Folk Week and Cedar Run Workshops in Madison, Virginia. Cindy has taught courses and led workshops in the university setting and for professional gatherings, for audiences ranging from musicians to university students to individuals with disabilities. Cindy welcomes opportunities to work with individuals and/or conduct workshops in areas related to performance, performance preparation, creativity, body awareness and/or yoga. **************************************************************** Reviews: "When Cindy's bow hits the strings I am captivated. Her tone is intoxicating, her phrasing often bringing me to tears." ~Singer/Songwriter Tom Prasada-Rao, Dallas, TX Cindy, her music, and her presence envelope the earth like a warm wind - powerful, welcomed, refreshing, nurturing, and heartening. ~Singer/Songwriter David Roth, Orleans, MA ***When Cindy plays her magical fiddle-ish - actually a little 5-string viola with a celestial and ancient tone - she is a symphony. ~Singer/Songwriter Phyllis Tannerfrye, Myrtle Beach, SC ***The quality of everything about the recording [Phyllis Tannerfryes most recent cd Now and Then], including Cindys viola on 'angel' and 'footprints' is AMAZING! ~Singer/songwriter Herschel Brown, Columbia, SC ***Cindy has a deep, enchanting talent that's a joy to hear. Her viola/fiddle range glides from soulfully moving to toe-tapping energizing. ~Joy Resor, Asheville, NC

Greetings,

Thank you for joining our circle of friends. Welcome. - We, the humankind, should always keep in mind that, united we stand and prosper, but divided, we have been falling for many, many years. - Let us learn how to unite and work together, let us learn how to transform the information offered on our website, into action, in order to solve humanity’s major problems, One Problem, at a time. - Ranking number 1, on top of our list of major manmade problems obviously is the Global Warming.

We must also keep in mind that silence solves nothing, it never has, and it never will. Our silence will encourage more violence and corruption at all levels of society, all over the world, and helps to defeat and silence the peaceful ethical voices of reason and common sense. - It is our civic duty and moral obligation, to get involved and never be silent, to solve our many problems, by simply casting the light of truth and exposing the source of the problem, followed by enlightening educational measures to solve the problem through a peaceful conflict resolution.

There are only 2 ways of spreading the light of truth and hope, either to be the source of light, truth and hope, The Projector, or be The Mirror, that spreads and reflects the light of truth and hope to others, which one are you? - Next time you see the angelic smile of sweet little angels, our children, running around, stop and think for just 1 minute, think about what kind of a polluted Home, Planet Earth we are leaving behind for them.

Please visit The Tree Huggers of America’s website and learn about the free simple things we can all do at home, or office, right now, to ensure a sustainable green future for all of us, the humankind. - Global Warming is a threat to our species and we must reverse it before 2018, or face the end of us, the humanity.
