About me:

I paint to keep my sanity and it works most of the time. Painting is my escape. People close to me know that if I haven't painted for awhile I might get really weird and/or crabby.

I grew up in a military family so we moved.. alot. We lived on the island of Malta for a number of years and attended a British school, Verdala, complete with turrets and towers.

In the mid-70s to 80's I lived in Los Angeles and played bass in punk bands - Haircuts That Kill and, the gleefully obscure Mr. Fun. We then spontaneously imploded and disappeared from the planet which was a really really good thing to do. Sadly, Mr. Fun was also the name of a much loved gray and white cat who met an untimely death in Hollywood.

Back then I painted old guitars, a beat-up drumkit, hats and clothing, old cast-off street corner furniture, sheets of masonite, the cement floor of our loft, and my shoes... I still paint whatever I can get my hands on.

Now you can find some of my art printed on shirts and other items at CafePress

Who I'd like to meet:

Sometimes I'd like to meet other artists and creative types. Mostly I continue to be a hermit.

I will probably be surrounded by cats in my more elderly years.
