What a great year this has been!!! Thanks to you, my CD has been a success. Many of you bought them at live concerts and over the internet. It also did well in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and other countries due to the "NUMBER ONE" ranking on the internet radio charts for several months!!! I was able to travel the country with my band this past summer and fall.....what a time we had!! I am fortunate to have the greatest band ever. They make me sound great and I enjoy every minute with each one of them.
One of my fondest memories of the year was our trip to Hawaii in October. We did a benefit concert for the Fisher House. I have chosen to give 20% of the profit from my CD to help this organization. Fisher House provides a beautiful home for families of wounded or sick soldiers to stay while their loved ones are cared for in a nearby military hospital. They provide all the comforts of home and more. Most times the hospital is not near their home and most cannot afford to stay in a hotel for indefinite amounts of time......the Fisher House is free for however long it takes. At first I thought the best thing was that it was free, but as I have come to know the Directors of these homes, and watched them care for small children, cook meals so a family could get right back to the hospital, and truely care about each and everyone in "their" home, I'm not sure if it's the money or the compassion that is the most valuable. It is a win-win situation. I'm proud to know these people and am thankful they have included me in their family. www.fisherhouse.org
Great things are in the works for next year. I am most excited to begin a new CD!!!! I will be in Nashville right after the Holiday to get things started. I will keep you posted. My website is being updated and is looking incredible. I'll let you know when it's ready. I am booking shows for the spring and summer and I hope to see lots of you again. I couldn't do this without fans that always support me, come to my shows, buy CD's, take pictures, ask for autographs.........THANK YOU!!!!
