This is how CINE DE LOS MUERTOS works. This is only an example, so pay attention asshole!
EXAMPLE:
Let's say these are the elements I give on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. (Pacific Time):
1. Location: Beach
2. Prop: Machete
3. Character Name: Bob
4. Costume: Bikini
5. Dialogue: "I said, 'Make me a sandwich!'"
You would pick three (3) of the five (5) elements, work it into your script, and make the movie. If you chose "beach, machete, and bikini," that would make for a very interesting shock film, right? Just get it done.
The actual elements will be revealed on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. (Pacific Time)

Great things come in small packages. That's what CINE DE LOS MUERTOS is. It is the portion of Shockfest 2008 that is dedicated to the insane, guerilla filmmakers that can conceive, shoot, chop, and score a film within a week.
On Friday, October 17, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. (Pacific Time), I will give you five very specific elements:
1. location
2. prop
3. character name
4. costume
5. dialogue
You then have to choose three of the five elements and work them into a short film (three minutes or less). Mail your entries to:
