CINE - OIDO CINEMA ELECTRONICA (Meetings in the Avant Garde)
This offer tries to agglutinate two pure ways of understanding the art, visual and different sonorous one, separated in the time for almost one century. Joined by the same zeal, that of the experimentation and the free expression of his performers. The avant garde of the first pioneers of the mute cinema of beginning of the 20th century (constructivism, expressionism, futurism, surrealism etc.), and the sonorous explorers of the electronic music of ends of the XXth and beginning of the 21st century, they give themselves meeting in the same space, prospering mutually and providing a new prism to the spectator, so much visually as telephone earpiece for your major enjoyment.
What for many spectators it supposes seeing old movies of mute cinema, in an exercise of "dusty" cinematographic revisionism, with this offer they receive new life and another dimension on having been interpreted inside the frame of a new sonorous language as, like it is that of the electronic experimental music, approaching probably, more the aesthetic - ideological expositions of the same authors of these. Definitively, it is a question of replacing the former figure of the pianist of room with a DJ or electronic musician who will be interpreting the live movie.
CINE – OIDO CINEMA ELECTRÓNICA (Encuentros en la Vanguardia)
Esta propuesta pretende aglutinar dos formas puras de entender el arte, una visual y otra sonora, separadas en el tiempo por casi un siglo. Unidas por un mismo afán, el de la experimentación y la libre expresión de sus ejecutantes.
Las vanguardias de los primeros pioneros del cine mudo de principios del siglo XX (constructivismo, expresionismo, futurismo, surrealismo etc.), y los exploradores sonoros de la música electrónica de finales del XX y principios del siglo XXI, se dan encuentro en un mismo espacio, enriqueciéndose mutuamente y proporcionando al espectador un nuevo prisma, tanto visual como auditivo para su mayor disfrute.
Lo que para muchos espectadores supone ver viejas películas de cine mudo, en un ejercicio de “polvoriento” revisionismo cinematográfico, con esta propuesta cobran nueva vida y otra dimensión al estar siendo interpretadas dentro del marco de un nuevo lenguaje sonoro como es el de la música electrónica experimental, acercándose quizás, más a los planteamientos estético-ideológicos de los mismos autores de éstas.
En definitiva, se trata de sustituir la antigua figura del pianista de sala por un DJ o músico electrónico que irá interpretando la película en directo.
