CINEPROV-A-THON IS COMING Sept 11th and 12th..... Have you ever gone to a movie so terrible that you found yourself yelling at the screen? Have you ever seen a movie so stupid that you've shaken your head in disbelief? Have you ever hoped that the morons next to you yelling incredibly unfunny things at the screen would shut up and let professionals handle it for you? Have you ever watched and enjoyed Mystery Science Theater 3000? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you need to come see Cineprov! We are winners of 2008 Best Live Comedy in Atlanta according to My Fox Atlanta City Voter. We are highly trained Professional Sarcasters. Our shows are 100% improvised, for your pleasure. Don't try this at home! We make fun of movies so you don't have to! Join us every Friday night at 8 pm at the fantastically BYOB Relapse Theatre located at 380 14th Street NW Atlanta Ga 30318. The Theatre is an old Church located across the street from Jimmy John's Sandwich Shop. Plenty of parking in the rear. Tickets are only 10 bucks or 5 for students. CineProv has picked up where MST3K left OFF and taken it to the next level. Unscripted improv meets one of my favorite genres, rifting or talking back to the tv. This was a very intriguing concept in performance. The crew's strong whit, comedic timing and pop culture references serve them very well in this format. The show is on the verge of obscurity and mingles on the fridge. Yet they are inches away from landing on the radar. So catch this show before it becomes the talk of the town. Don't worry MST3K fans the art of rifting is in good hands and doing very well in the ATL.
