A Little Bit of History

I was born and raised in Texas, transplanted to Honolulu Hawaii for a couple of years after my daughter was born, and then on to California (San Francisco Bay Area) where I'd spent the majority of my adult life. In 2002, I moved back to Texas to begin a new life, and now I am living in North Carolina.

My Wonderful Marriage

I'm very happily married to a wonderful man. We've been married four years, and never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I could be this happy, and this in love with someone. We take care of each other, and he spoils me rotten, I want for absolutely nothing. In November of 2004, he purposed to me during a good old Texas thunderstorm, down on his knees in the poring rain. With my love of thunderstorms, that was the most perfect romantic moment. On April 16th, 2005 we were married.

If you would like to know the story behind the romance, read

Hobbies And Interests

I have a passion for cooking. I grew up learning to cook the old fashioned way, making everything from scratch, and I still cook that way today. Being able to be creative in the kitchen and put a home cooked meal on the table, brings me a much joy. I write a lot of my own recipes, and would love to publish a cook book. My hubby and I love to travel, we especially love road trips. Traveling to and from your destination can be just as enjoyable as the destination itself. I also love to do graphics and web page design. I make a lot of my own graphics, and do all of my own HTML and CSS, and I'm working on learning Java.

The Story Behind My Screen Name

My screen name comes from a poem that was written for me, almost ten years ago. When the person who wrote it died that same year, I started using it as my email address as a way to honor his memory. Later I began using it for my screen name around the Internet. Most everyone around the net, know me as Immortal Princess or Cinnamon Girl. If you would like to know anything else about me, pretty much everything you would ever want to know, is in my blogs.

Who I'd like to meet:

It's All About The Friendships

I make friends very easily, both on and off the net. I have friends all over the country, and going back as far as Middle School. I'm not one of these people who has a new set of friends every couple of years, once I consider someone a friend, they are a friend for life. Even if we have a falling out, I try to find a way to put things back together. Sometimes we loose touch, but we always manage to catch back up again. I consider friendships to be as important as family, they enrich our lives in so many ways.
