Myspace Backgrounds
"Have you ever wanted to watch a great live band, that play songs that you know and love, but haven't heard any other band perform - together with a handful of cutting original pop songs?" Enter the world of CINNAMON STREET - An 80's influenced Pop/Rock band formed by three old friends sick and tired of the music business to play what they want, to who they want, when they want! DAVE BONE was the guitarist for rock band Kincade for 10 years, who's achievements include playing Glastonbury (1998), the O2 Wireless Festival in Hyde Park (2005), had music videos played several times on prime-time ITV1 together with numerous radio appearances/interviews. JOHN STICKLEY is a prolific local songwriter and pianist who has worked with several boy/girl bands in the late 90's, has a vast back catalogue of solo material and has performed with Kincade as a session musician as well as many other concert appearances. GREG OVENDEN was the original drummer for Kincade all those years ago and left to pursue a life long ambition of touring America with a professional drum corps. He has since performed with several semi-pro bands. All three members are highly skilled musicians who enjoy nothing more than entertaining their audiences and puting on a great show. The guys have all been on very different musical journeys over the years and have no intention of looking for a record deal this time around. What they are doing though, is re discovering what got them into music in the first place, and having a bloody good time doing it, too!
