Hollywood Boulevard - The Musical!

I am primarily here to connect with creative people, and am interested in meeting an executive producer(s) who'd be interested in producing/and or funding a few of my film projects.

I am currently focusing on the two below:

"Hollywood Boulevard" is rock musical of magical proportions ... a powerful story about love, second chances and redemption.

Seeking old time rock n roller, late 50's, early 60's still handsome but rough around the edges. Can be actor or musician/rocker/actor. A little younger or older with that weathered, Jeff Bridges in American Heart or Buck Cherry tatt thing is cool or even a Billy Idol or similiar British Actor like Ewan MacGregor, but older. Must sing ... but possibility of using a great actor and dubbing if necessary.
Also casting rocker or grunge type, 28 to 33 to play Lucky ... can be a Ewan type, actor rocker, or a young Billy Wirth type. Must be able to sing rock well.

A spec screenplay I have available is:
“The Fields of Juniper Springs”(award winning screenplay) is the story of Jewel Mason, an abused farm wife who kills her husband Wylie in self-defense. The crime is witnessed by a man passing by, who tries to flee the scene but is stopped at gunpoint by Jewel’s son Junior, who blackmails the man into burying Wylie in the field and to stay on at the farm to bring in the harvest. His presence has a healing effect on Jewel and the children. The man and Jewel slowly fall in love. Their happiness is short lived when he and Jewel are arrested for her husband’s disappearance. When they discover that Jewel is pregnant, he selflessly confesses to the murder to spare Jewel and the baby from an precarious fate. This story is a gripping, and poignant “big sky farm country” saga about survival of the human spirit through domestic violence when there’s no protection and in seemingly inescapable circumstances. It’s in the vein of Tender Mercies, Places in the Heart and Somersby. The original version of the screenplay I wrote called Colorblind was set in 1952 Alabama, but, about a year and a half after I wrote it, the screenplay was optioned by an Italian actor and I re-wrote the male lead for him, updating the story to present day. So, two versions of the screenplay currently exist, hence the multiple titles.

This story has the option of being a great vehicle for a 30-55 year old African American Star or for a 27-55 year old Italian or other European star. One of the original founders of CAA, Marty Baum, said this screenplay was Academy Award winning material.
