Indie Lounge Review
An extremely well crafted set. A mixture of covers and original material. One of their own songs “Lanotific”; amazingly crafted with an amazing hook and strong vocals and harmonies really gripped the audience. Also a cover of Jamie T’s “If you’ve got the money” performed with their own twist really made you want to sing along and get involved.
wicked set last night, hope you enjoyed our set. we're heading the academy 3 in 3 weeks time tonight so if you fancy it come along, would be great to see you there, and we can talk with you some gig opportunities.
ummmm, if you mean izzy or cara then i don't have their myspace but they're both in octane's top friends. that's the best i can do :| i'm sorry :| anyways you're going to be great tonight, good luck ladsssssss (: i really wanted to come along for an hour, i would have arrived just in time i think, but it's just impossible. which is annoying. see you soon though (: xoxoxoxo
'met one of your friends in wythall' i have a lot of friends, any chance of being more specific?, i would like to help (: i cannot make wednesday due to sixth form interviews, but i heard about one in telford which i'll probably come to if that's okay (: good luck though! you'll be amazing :D xoxoxo
sure thing, i will find a few minutes to do that (: it was really nice to meet you too! my friend who i brought with me liked you the best out of the four, so i assume she and i will come along to some shows, it's helpful that you're local too :D this made me laugh: 'so are you at college?' 'naa, year 11' 'oh really, where?' 'five ways' 'i thought you were five ways kids!' you so obviously did not, i would die of respect if you were ;D good luck with finding musicians, but if you do need any help of a temporary nature you know where i am :D xoxoxoxo
I thought xova were nuts.. like off the chain amazing! they were kinda like the script.. with a brass section and a little more reggae i thought...
I thought Octane Ok were so disrespectful. I mean, the fact that they did their soundcheck, and did one, and then they show up after both of us had played. It's just not fair... I would've stayed til the end, but I came to my senses and just thought why the foooook should i stay?! It's a real shame.. because i really do think they're an amazing band. If i was headlining a show, I'd talk to everyone, or at least make the effort! ahh well, what can you do.
lol it was grinding on me so much that i posted "if you ask bands to support you, show some fucking respect and support them back" on my facebook.
yeah yeah fo' sho'! it was awesome, loved your set, it was awesome..
thanks so much for sticking around for my set and listenin!
twas a good night, sorry i didnt say bye, i left early to drop a couple of friends back but then had some trouble gettin back..but yeah it was awesome.. keep in touch! we'll sort something out! Alex
