Sounds Like
Memorable guitar riffs fused with massive choruses and real emotion and moral meanings.
Circle Of Destruction are currently working on a new album, which they are aiming to complete in the summer. Both Dean and Andy have been working on songs and there are many songs that are near completion. The list of songs so far include 'This Feeling', 'So Far From The Truth', 'Get It Together', 'Living Across The Sea', 'The Lovers', 'Real Life Fantasy', 'Agesexlocation' and two as yet untitled tracks. None of these are guaranteed to be in the final cut, but there will be regular updates regarding the new album.
UPDATES
Andy has been writing lyrics in Germany, and Dean's been writing the bass parts to songs he's written. Drum and bass parts to 'This Feeling' and 'Living Across The Sea' are near completion.
EQUIPMENT
Dean uses a silver and black (sunburst style) Fender (Squier) Stratocaster in standard tuning and a metallic blue Fender (Squier) Telecaster tuned in drop D, complete with lots of stickers and the lyric 'we never even had sex, now I have to wank' (taken from the COD song 'In These Situations') letrasetted onto the stratchplate. Amp-wise, Dean uses an old Laney that he bought about four years ago, this is smashed to pieces and has been bodged back together. Amazingly, it is in full working order, at least it will be until it's replaced. Dean will also be using a Zoom G1 effects pedal for the upcoming album, this will be the first time Dean has had access to other effects bar 'clean' and 'distorted'. Acoustically, Dean breaks the Fender trend with a Westfield acoustic (exact model name/number not known).
Andy uses a black Fender (Squier) Stratocaster and a sunburst Epiphone Les Paul. He tunes the guitar according to the song he's playing, which means pretty much standard all the time, bar the old classic 'School Song' and the upcoming 'Agesexlocation'. Andy also uses laney amplifiers, and up until now has used Zoom effects pedal. This could potentially be ditched for recording of the fourth effort. Andy uses an Aria Dreadnought acoustic guitar.
Both Dean and Andy use Yamaha keyboards, and for the new batch of songs, a wireless Shure SM-58 microphone will be used.
yeah ive always had a problem with wanting to keep re-doing songs..but I think its best to do four new ones and maybe come back to the old ones. Papa Roach did that, their song "barbed wire" was a live b-side taken from the "last resort" single. Originally it was on an E.P they did, but they re recorded it and it appeared on their second album love, hate, tragedy.
cool cool, well ive decided to go into the studio. For £250 Ill get up to 4 songs mixed and mastered, art work (my own of course) and 50 duplicated CDs, thats throught Clives company. Will also start my own label and do some t-shirts, already got designs that I can use.
wow....4th album!? good luck with it! i hope it goes well
ha! we are 7 songs into our 1st album... so the songs we are writing are a bit rusty...not that much experiance writing before...
and the fact that we have lost our studio for 6 weeks doesnt bode well for us.
we are all still at school, which has a recording suite with amazing equipment, so we are in there pretending to be sound engineers most of the time XD but as we are on holiday, we cant use it...awell...
yeah but this is me...my acoustic stuff is gonna be unusual in some way or another...Im just looking forward to this colaboration im doing with Near Ruin as I dont know what they have already got together for the track, so it should be interesting.
cheers man , just got back from crewing at the lounge on the farm festival...check out these acts on myspace, the quays, the burning leaves, and smoke fairies...last two are acoustic....they were anazing.
cheers dude...yeah i like the last track, and what it meant to sam...but thats the thing, its really sams track not mine...so it doesnt fully fit with the "theme" if there ever really was one.
yeah i know i need the money...but then again i might be able to get an arts grant or something...work is too much stress when all i do is put fruit out all day...and I know i can be doing more with my life.
yeah myspace can pay off finding fans, while bebo is just for your mates, if ya know what i mean....
well im crewing tomoz at the lounge on the farm fest tomoz...sill need to pack, but i know ill forget something...maria and i are on friendly terms, even gareth randomly starting talking to me again...wanna pack in my job and concentrate on the music....or rather start make progress with it...although i think since the recent album more people have been checking the myspace page....never really sure.

Admittedly, as you know, Im not compltly down with your style of work, but at least your doing what you want and not posing lol...hopefully that comes across in my own work.
well canterbury didnt happen cos we sat in a tent last night getting drunk lol....yeah well maria and i will be close friends and i think the whole gareth thing is a good idea, just concentrate on your own project. if ya want an album let me know and illpost you a copy.
well maria and i split up again..it was mutual and things werent working out, and i had a falling out with gareth...long long story. I would say gareth is just being him and he does use people, but I dont really know the current situation...anyways. We currenrtly have eight songs on the track listing, five i had already done, the rest sam and i worked on....but it is really cool. we were planning to go to canterbury and hand them out...that though hasnt become a concrete plan. anyways dude keep in touch.
