  • Bio

Over the last 4 years since the release of "Massive Obliss" Circle of Nero's acclaimed debut. Many things with C.O.N. have changed. The band has re-invented itself. Playing a MUCH Heavier Brand of Metal than ever before. C.O.N. still has roots in the Doom Prog Vain, but has added elements of Death,Thrash, Techno, and Black Metal to the Mix. Finally after 2 years in the making "Brutal Harvest" Will see the light of day."Summer 2005" The reviews of the demo have been Killer.Circle of Nero "weave their way down the fine line between metal genres pretty deftly, careening headlong into one style and storming through another until they eventually shift back to that ragged path straight to Hell." Says Maximum Metal. "Amazing! Simply amazing! This CD belongs to the category of the releases that no one should neglect and the reason is obvious as soon as you get to listen to their music" Says Behind the Veil from Greece. Our Canadian friends from the Frozen North have this to say "This Virginia act is an explosive mix of the new Pantera-inflected sound, thrash and complex death with an enigmatic prog rock work ethic, all laced with memorable melodic ideas. The drumming is amazing, the vocals multi-dimensional and the power of the guitars... legion. The full-length debut, set for later this year, is sure to crush!!!! Thanks Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles. With many Labels showing interest in the band it's only a matter of time till Circle of Nero lands a deal with A major Metal label. Circle of Nero will also be on the sound track to; Wild cat Entertainment's new Movie "Devils Detour" slated to be directed by Michael Burnett. This will be C.O.N.s second movie "Day of the Axe 3" from Fourth Floor Pictures was the first. ................................................................................................................
