This is Tornado aka dj Eazy T a guy from the north of England (East Midlands), who has been creating music for the past 22 years. At the age of 4yrs, he played his first guitar that he had for his birthday. He never had a guitar or piano lesson in his life, just self taught. At the age of 14 he used 2 tape decks as a mixer and a multi –track device, Korg drum machine and a Yamaha DX100 keyboard and whatever else he could lay his hands on he would use it, this was when he was still at school!!
At 16 (1985) he had his first turntable and then become a DJ.
In the late 80..s, DJ Tornado started his challenge by joining S-Man, Neil Lawson, Paul Holiday and Swift Lee. For Action Records (Jet Star). He help S-Man to remix Auto Rhythm that hit no.4 in the new release charts. Them day's he was called EAZY T. He was well known for making music at rapid speed. At that time TEKTRONIK 4 had begun but didn’t last long. At that point Tornado had never heard of an Akai sampler, he was just a synthesist by creating drum sounds and using Steve's Roland R8 drum machine but he had his own stuff. After that he hit the digital side of technology. For a techno kid he never gave up. Now he don’t spend much time djing, he studied computer music sequence on his Amiga 500 although he did computer tech at college. The future was in his hands. Early 90..s he hit the jungle side of music, then house, rave, techno. In the late 90..s he went on to other major record labels including Sony. That’s when he started his own label called C400 RECORINGS with DJ Slam Dunk, Philip White and other members. His music technique is getting wider by producing drum n bass, R&B, hip-hop. Up to this day working with Nitro Musik and still running his own studio and djing, he mastered garage, deep house and other genres of today's music, but still loves doing drum n bass and techno. He has remixed a lot of music from Human League to Daniel Beddingfield with Steve Thomas for Full Power Studio (Making Waves). He is still one of the best top producers in the Midlands and most parts of the nation, the phone doesnt stop ringing for him to do peoples music.
Today, Tornado is still pushing his ideas to the max and will continue to do so. His unique creation of modern music is still in his hands.
