The founding member of Earthbound Crew, Halley "SpamM" Borenstein, was displaced from New Orleans after hurricane katrina. At one point the only place he had to stay was a place called "St Tammany Parish, Louisiana." Within days of moving to this town (known as Mandeville/ ManDevil, LA) SpamM was harassed nearly on a daily basis by the local police. They harassed Mr. Borenstein by pulling him over everyday he drove his own vehicle (sometimes more than once in a single day). On several occasions the police reffered to him as a "dirty jew" and other racial slurs that are simply too offensive to repeat. Having no luck pulling Mr. Borenstein over multiple times for no reason and searching his car, the local police then illegally invaded his place of residence (with no warrant) and Halley "SpamM" Borenstein was arrested for his religious use of Kaneh Bosom (Tree of Life - Cannibus). It is wrong that this type of biggotry stil exists anywhere in a country that calls itself free.
The harassment STILL CONTINUES. SpamM (HALLEY BORENSTEIN) has been intimidated by the St. Tammany justice system into paying fines and taking drug tests (which prevent him from practicing his religion of judiasm). He has been told he will not be convicted if he LEAVES TOWN (st tammany parish) and abides by all the guidelines they impose opon him. It is obvious they are afraid of Mr. Borenstein fighting the charges because the local police are so cleary guilty of fraud and a mryiad of other offenses (including racial/religious descrimination).
So what we (earthbound crew) are doing, and what we want all of our fans to do as well, is to contact the white house comment line at 202-456-1111 (mon-fri. 9am-5pm) and make them aware of this racial/religious bigotry that exists in places like ST TAMMANY PARISH and how they have sought to ruin a poor young jew's life, named... HALLEY "SpamM" BORENSTEIN
