"Cirkus from Hell"
From a dark, dingy, damp, Astoria, NY dungeon,
"Cirkus from Hell"
was born out of pure love of classic horror films, Halloween and guitar driven music that refuses to die.
Since then the bands image has changed somewhat since the band was formed due to changing members and new influences, but the drive to make it to the top of the heap is still the same.
A few of the songs Horror theme remains the same, while other songs head in a new direction and strive to remain fresh.
Cirkus From Hell is influenced by such metal bands as Disrurbed, Slayer, Pantera, Godsmack Rob Zombie and Ozzy among many others.
All this combined brings the unique sound that the band has.
"Cirkus from Hell"combines having fun with in your face, hard rocking metal music to bang your head to, Along with a Kick-Ass stage show to-boot, this is a band not to be missed.
Rick Drago Concept creator, songwriter and lead / Ryhthm guitarist has been around the block lending his Guitar playing talents to such bands as D.O.A, Krakatoa, Rosetta Stone and more.
Rick also engineered and produces the bands songs to this point.
The Band will be working with producers and engineers from now on since signing with 4X Records.
BILLY SMITH adds his prowess and powerful drumming which lays the foundation that helps drive home the fiery riffs of Rick Drago’s thunder.
Rï¢h lead vocals and lyricist adds his talents to the mix as our frontman.
Rï¢h is energized more then ever with a stronger more powerful sound. Drawing from such newer influences as Killswitch Engage, Slipknot, All That Remains and Soilwork while holding on to his roots and older influences such as Metallica, Slayer, White Zombie and Pantera. Incorporating new techniques from Melissa Cross and Jaime Vendera, Rï¢h is sure to make his mark once again on the Metal scene.
G.O.D swings a mean Bass, adding the sonic low punch that hits you in the chest and rounds out the bottom end.
