I mean who really understands how leaders get voted in to office? It seems like anything goes these days. But I'm determined to get to the heart of it. And am starting my own video blog to uncover the process. I actually went to Springfield, Illinois to see Obama announce his candidacy. It was so exciting. Oh boy. The South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford (R) has had an extra-marital affair with a woman in Argentina. Its the big story on the news. This is the NOT the distraction we need when we are dealing with real issues like Iran (as "robo-cops"---militia men in head to toe body armor---throw protestors off bridges and hack people up with axes), North Korea (who want to fire a missle towards Hawaii, and say they will "wipe America off the globe"), terrorism in Pakistan, healthcare reform (Obama says he is positive his plan will become a reality), the possibility of a third HUGE bailout, and immigration reform. Another GOP politician, Senator John Ensign of Nevada, also admitted last week of an affair of his own. Both Republicans were possible 2012 presidential contenders. This is NOT what our party needs. We need to be strong and oppose these troubling changes to our country, not succumb to a real-life, sordid, tabloid soap-opera. On a better note, us Young Republicans are continuing to fight the good fight. The world has many considerable confrontations brewing, and the USA has recently released terrorist suspects to Bermuda, where they are swimming in the ocean and eating ice cream (no joke). Obama's "extended hand" is not working...His foreign policy is a borderline disgrace (he is critical of our allies and lax on our adversaries) and he doesn't seem to be very worried about the election suspicions regarding voter fraud in Iran's presidential race (his "deep concern" is about as forceful as French diplomacy). And regarding nuclear proliferation- -he's ho-hum about North Korea's shenanigans! The communist Korean state operates with little concern of consequence. They threaten us and South Korea and say they will test a 3rd nuclear bomb soon. Terrible. And during these times, Obama speaks of his home country while overseas as if the USA is an unfair imperialist empire. This worldwide apology tour saddens us. He should focus on this harsh truth: rogue dictators with nukes spells serious danger for the USA or the rest of the world!!!
At home, the president's power grab with GM and trying to pass OBAMACARE continues to undermine capitalism....He ran as moderate, but his actions prove he is FAR LEFT when it comes to economics and his socialist-leaning methodology is NOT helping America. His trillions of dollars in spending has not improved unemployment. His appointed expert "Czars" of certain areas are simply leftist academics, with NO executive backgrounds. Obama wants to control energy, education, and healthcare. The federal government should not run private industry...We are not going in the right direction...So how do we turn this around?
Oh yeah. Barack came to Springfield again and this time I saw him get off Air Force One. Air Force freaking one! So do all the secret service guys know who you are yet? ha :)

My political message is pure and simple. A Good Dictator is better than Bad Democracy.
