Citizen Omega (aliases: E12, Audio Cocktail, Planet Gong, DJ Eeroville),
real name Eero Salminen. Born in Vaasa, Finland, 1971. Started his music projects in 1992 under the name E12 meanwhile played at local experimental folk/rock band named The Flying Pie, DJ career active since
1985 beeing 13 years old and first played mostly at local youth centres, then moved to nightclubs. Have organised some underground parties in the 90´s, mostly at sugarfactory, Vaasa.
Musical influences comes from the 1970´s and 80´s modern classical and new age,
1980s-90´s electronics, house music and techno. Nowadays works on
eclectic, dub-based sounds at his new home studio, shared with some
local collaborators, as well as doing remixes. Some Citizen Omega backing
tracks also appear on Kompleksi's releases.
