2009 has been a great year for Citizens Band Radio (and it ain't over yet). The band has supported some great national acts including Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, Jimmy VanZant and the Ghostriders. They headlined shows at Old Glory Harley Davidson, East Coast Sturgis Bike Rally and the Harley Rendevouz, as well as, Hunterdon Counties 4H & Agricultural Fair and The Bourbon Street Blues Festival. The band will have put on as many as 130 shows in 2009 from the Northeast border south through Tennessee and North Carolina. By years end they will have released their second album. However, if you only “heard” this band’s recorded material you would be missing the true essence of CB Radio. As they say, “seeing is believing” and that is definitely true in this case. Citizens Band Radio has the look, feel and sound of an early 70s vintage country rock band, the energy of a herd of wild horses on stage, and is described as a honky-tonkin’, rock-a-rollin’, whiskey drinkin’, good timin’ band. Citizens Band Radio’s LIVE show is exciting, energetic, powerful and sure to make a true believer out of anyone who appreciates the country rock genre (and a bunch who don‘t).
