Charlie Hannagan: Vocals, Guitars
Scott Lynch: Bass
Adam Baumol: Drums
Tim Dolzine: Saxophones
Influences
It's hard to say what influences us. For example; Scott is a French horn player, Adam plays a mean marimba while composing music in the hours most people sleep, and Tim...Tim just kind of sits in the practice room and makes weird sounds and then rips it on stage, I'm not sure how it works...keep it up Timmy! And Charlie...well, he's an opera singer....I know. Now, I don't think our sound is like a Handel Oratorio or any horn or marimba concerto, but to say these things don't influence us would just be a waste of tuition money.
Sounds Like
Well, we have saxophones and an acoustic guitar, but our singer doesn't exactly sound like Dave Matthews. Though he is a light tenor, we still don't sound like a Jason Mraz either. We have a funky/pop element like Maroon5, and yet there are traces of singer/songwriter as well. So we probably sound most like Snoop.
Charlie Hannagan, who's middle name is Citro, began writing songs of the singer/songwriter style in the end of 2004. He soon met bassist Scott Lynch and the two hit it off right away. For almost a year the two worked on a set list of nearly twenty songs, rarely playing shows around campus under the name The Charlie and Scott Duo. When Charlie moved in with drummer Adam Baumol in the Fall of 2005, his old roommate and friend Tim Dolzine joined full time on saxophone, having occasionally played with the duo. The quartet clicked instantly and within 2 weeks of playing together had already set up several shows and recording dates. A demo has been released and is playing for you right now. Currently, the group is working on building their rep, while shopping around for more gigs.

Come see Jim & Jessica wreck the place tonight in Wilmington, DE. The killer guitar duo and band adds a hard rockin kick to traditional blues, at Delaware's hottest blues club, The Blue Parrot - New Orleans Grille, Wilmington.
Jim Cara plus Jessica Dangelo from Control Freaks have put together a deadly house band, that pushes traditional blues to the edge, as hard as far as it can go without falling off. Throw together Jonny Lang, Govt. Mule, Joe Bonamassa, Thin Lizzy and Zackk, while still getting acclaim from many veteran Jazz and traditional die-hard historic fans is what they do like nobody's business.
As Jim will say, he's been looking for the right guy to pull this off for 20 years and found it in Jessica.
Is this the next best guitar duo since Perry and Whitford, or Gorham & Downey? Unbelievable stuff comin' out of this pair.
Every Wed starting with an acoustic set at 8:45
Got a band? Why not let us know and showcase with them!
Get there: http://www.blueparrotgrille.com
great show on sat! i love you guys (obvi). oh and adam i gave the cd to a couple of places like you told me to, so hopefully you'll get some hits about it soon :)
Hey guys! Great show last night! had fun, especially when I could dance at the end ;) And Adam - you're a trooper, pulling double duty and all. Hey - at least Gaithersburg was cancelled, otherwise who knows how worn out we and you especially would be!
Yo! i want to tell you guys about a way that a friend of mine who is in a band makes money while he is on the road just by having access to the internet. after i found out how much he was making i tried it. all i do is fill out these surveys that companies send to my email daily. they then pay me between $25-125. it takes about 20 mins to complete each survey. everyone always asks me why they have to pay money to get started up, but once they join they realize how important the site below really is. they filter out companies that don't really pay you to take surveys, so basically you will ALWAYS get paid because they test out the company first. i mean, come on, you fill out surveys all day on MySpace for free...why not get paid for it? If you want to check it out go to the following link:
