About me:

Our mission is to serve the nutritional, social, and economic needs of our members and community by providing a market for local, fair-trade, sustainable, independent, and healthful goods and services in a friendly, cooperative environment. CityFoods is a prospective food cooperative planned for the Greater Lafayette community. Community members showed great support at the initial call out in February 2008 for a grocery in downtown Lafayette. Why not make it as green as possible? Our main focus is sourcing local products from suppliers within a close radius of Tippecanoe County. We will perform constant research to make sure the closest and most healthful foods are available to you. CityFoods envisions a storefront downtown due to an increase in residents and the absence of a grocery. We have been diligently working since June 2008 to bring you CityFoods by late summer of 2010.
