Potent mixture of rock, country, funk, blues, jazz, bluegrass, latin, reggae, cajun, and 30 seconds of disco in 3/4
The roots of CityGoat stretch back to 1994, when in the middle of a deep, alcohol fueled conversation Erik Santos (bass, vocals) said to Daniel Worley (guitar, vocals), Hey man, lets start a band. Finally, in 1999, after Erik returned from Pennsylvania, the first sputtering incarnations of CityGoat were born through countless personnel changes, reformations and band names, the early songs and their musical partnership survived. Then in mid-2003, while recording some demos of original songs, Dan and Erik began working with the jazz/rock keyboardist Neil Donato on what would eventually become CityGoats first album, When Goats Fly. After drummer Mike Gabelman joined the band during the summer of 2004, CityGoat began gigging regularly in Michigan and Northern Ohio, flooring audiences at The Blind Pig, TCs Speakeasy, The Ann Arbor Art Fair, Smalls (in Detroit), The Ypsilanti Heritage Festival, Papa Petes, The Riverside Arts Center, The Village Idiot and many more with their high-energy roots-rock shows. CityGoat released their second album, Can of Worms, in December 2005, solidifying their sound and widening their audience. Once Upon a Time, a single from Can of Worms, won an Honorable Mention in the acclaimed 2005 International Songwriting Competition, drawing the attention of the music industry.

CountryHome Forum have more than 5,000 members. Each news you submit to CountryHome Forum will released to my weekly Newsletter with more than 50,000 readers.
Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. If you do not have the time to submit your artist news and events by yourself, please send it me to: Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de and I will submit them by myself to CountryHome Forum.
I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks
Christian

Every time that we listen or write music... play an instrument... dance... act in a play... or work in some audio/image/video engineering process... Something is healing inside...
When we share it with friends... Something is healing all over...
Tell Governor Granholm to Stop Michigan's "Coal Rush"
Please take action now to urge Governor Granholm to issue an executive order that halts the construction of new coal plants until stronger protections are put in place against dangerous global warming carbon dioxide pollution – sign the petition to ask Governor Granholm to require the consideration of global warming pollution before air quality permits are approved!
GreenCurrents or Greenwashed?.. .. Has DTE Energy's massive green marketing campaign made you one of the 14,000 customers who have signed up for their "GreenCurrents" program? If so, we're sorry to tell you that the premium you are paying on your monthly electricity bill has bought no new renewable energy - not a single environmentally friendly electron is flowing to your house or business from Detroit Edison's power grid because of GreenCurrents. Worse yet, Detroit Edison (DTE) spent over 85% of its "GreenCurrents" program money on marketing and administration, leaving only 15% to purchase renewable energy certificates (which is not the same as actually buying renewable energy) in its first year... .. Fortunately, the Ecology Center and city of Ann Arbor are proposing a better way for DTE customers who want to truly support and benefit from renewable energy. Our proposed program, which is based on a highly successful program in Texas, requires DTE to directly purchase Michigan-based renewable energy and provide the benefits of price stability and a cleaner electricity system to you - with no corporate spin or spending on greenwashing. Unfortunately, DTE is doing everything in its power to stop its customers from having an option that is green without greenwashing... .. So, please send an email to the Michigan Public Service Commission about your support for the Ecology Center's proposed program and with your concerns about DTE's "GreenCurrents"... .. TAKE ACTION NOW!}

Thank you for taking a listen to my music. Glad you liked what you heard!
I hope you'll stop by www. davidshelbymusic. com to hear a sampling of all the tracks from my debut CD, I Came to Play. I look forward to hearing what you think.
Greetings! As many of you may know Sajida Jalalzai and I have formed a band, a bit cagey, and are working diligently to produce a demo. I am writing to everyone to collect information for a master networking list.
If you or anyone else you know are interested in staying up to date on our progress with the demo, or future performances please reply to this message with the following information:

You can see our current project here: http://profile. myspace. com/index. cfm?fuseaction=user. viewprofile&friendid=282764948&MyToken=6a88ad90-7e4e-456c-8a90-ca9b5fb2ae90 This is a parody of the two artists Beck Hansen and Thom Yorke. If you're not familiar with them you can view their profiles on our top friends. Currently many of the people who have viewed the site have believed it to be the real Beck and Thom, while this is a bit baffling to us we are going with it for another month or two before we unveil our true identities. Please feel free to leave comments, or send us feedback.
We would also appreciate all of the contacts or ideas you might have in promoting our music. If you like what you hear please forward this to friends! Any music business contacts would be so valuable to us at this point in our development and we would be thankful for any help you might be able to provide. Financially we are saving up to purchase some of the gear we will need. If you have microphones, retired laptops, etc. that need a home, we welcome all donations.
Thank you so much, everyone, and I hope that you are doing well!
