Why a MySpace page?
The purpose of this page is to attract younger people to the ministry of City Mission.
We want teenagers be informed of how beneficial City Mission is.
If you want to donate your time and/or money, there are many areas here to do so.
I think everyone can make a difference and if more people can learn about a place that really does, they can do something to help too.
And if you need help, ask. We'll try to do whatever we can for you. =]

What does City Mission do?
City Mission of Schenectady was founded in 1906. City Mission is a place where those in need can worship Christ and get the guidance and help they need.
City Mission provides food, shelter and a helping hand for people that are going through some tough times.
City Mission has many things to offer. There is a program for both Woman and Men who can go through rehabilitation and regain stability in their lives.
After one goes through this process, you graduate. Some have even moved on to work at the City Mission themselves so they could help others. There is also a chapel for people to go to for worship on Friday mornings and Sunday evenings.

A: We are not. We rely only on contributions from people,churches and other businesses.
