As a former staff member of Discovery Communications, Inc., Smith has worked on the production of two IMAX films, a variety of Hi-Definition projects, live events, remote broadcast and numerous Discovery Channel Specials. Since opening The Solution Film Group, LLC in 2001, he's been producing and editing programs which include: Before The Dinosaurs - Emmy Winner 2006; HD in The Making: Eye Of The Beholder; Discovery's Walking with Prehistoric Beast - Emmy Winner 2002; and Allosaurus: A Walking with Dinosaurs Special - Emmy Winner 2001.
