"City Sirens has a business plan. And it's not something they paid some management company to prepare. They put it together themselves." Graham Rockingham, The Hamilton Spectator 08/01/09
Nominated for the “Best Pop/Rock Recording of the Year” at 2009’s Hamilton Music Awards, City Sirens continue to hit the Canadian music industry with their new rock sound. The band released their full length album “In A Trance” to a sold out crowd, into stores across Canada and onto i tunes in January 09. The success of the release has since inspired the band to independently tour throughout Ontario, Quebec and the Eastern Provinces of Canada.
The band has since had the pleasure of opening for 54 40, Sloan, Shiloh, USS, Social Code, Silverstein, Dean Lickyer as well as appearances at Canadian Music Week 2009, Burlington’s Sound of Music Festival, St Catharines SCENE music festival and Peterborough’s Festival of Lights.
Their self produced record “In A Trance” approaches its 1 year anniversary this January. With big plans for the band’s 2010 release the band is now performing and traveling more than ever.
