    Our programs cover a very broad range indeed. We have spoken word programming and music shows. Together, both formats cover material that ranges across the board and includes diverse topics such as animal rights and latin music, indie rock and 1920s Jazz. We also host Take 5, an independent news program that broadcasts daily from 8-10am. Listen to us, you'll like it.

We're a unique radio station

CIUT does its own live recordings of artists that get aired during Take 5, our morning show. The station hosts free lunchtime concerts on the lawn (at 91 Saint George Sreet, Toronto) and also does live broadcasting at various remotes. We have over 80 shows, hundreds of volunteers and a small group of dedicated staff who really are quite likeable.

Broadcasting from Barrie to Buffalo, Kitchener to Cobourg and serving a local population of approximately 8 million people, we're on the airwaves 24 hours a day, seven days a week on 89.5 FM. We can be heard everywhere else via www.ciut.fm and on channel 826 on the Star Choice National Satellite Network.
