Vocalist/songwriter/guitarist CJ Blount provides versatility that spans far beyond the aforementioned. CJ never fails to deliver a passionate message of optimism and endurance. He adds, “God knows our struggles, and I know if He can bring me through it, He’ll bring you through as well”. As his favorite verse Isaiah 54:17 states, CJ is a firm believer that no weapon formed against God’s children shall prosper. CJ’s faith and strength in God were ingrained from his humble roots on a ten mile farm in Fitzgerald, GA. His dream of becoming a singer was ignited by his grandfather Theotis Taylor. Mr. Taylor sang for many years including a performance at the esteemed Carnegie Hall. He always told CJ, “When you sing, remember you’re singing for the Lord.” CJ currently continues on his mission to touch lives through music.
