About me:

I live in Ca. I have been married to my husband, John for 20 years. I have 3 grand-children and and my nieces and nephews that I love. I have 3 Peruvian Paso horses, and have ridden and loved horses since I was very young. I used to compete in horse shows, and would parade our horses all over the county, however, we stopped all this when I lost my beloved Luisa. She has given me a beautiful colt, which I hope will inspire me to get back into the horsey scene. I belong to a couple of chapters of The Red Hat Society, and have so much fun attending Red Hat events. I am a devoted Christian, and love my Lord!!!!!I am a very devoted Grand-ma, and my Grand-kiddies call me Ya-Ya, as I embrace each day as if it were my last. So, I guess some would look at me as a nut-case, I look at it, as I am truly living life! I enjoy camping in the motor-home, my favorite place is at the beach, any beach, but I certainly prefer the ocean at Wrightsville Beach, N.C., where I lived for many years.My biggest goal is to show my Grand-kiddies the world. When I take them to the beach, the girls wear their princess dresses, and we blow bubbles, and howl like coyotes!!!!!!We scream with joy, making as many friends as possible, and giving of myself to others keeps me going! I love boating, nature walks, snow-skiing, and gardening. ..

    My family FIRST, and foremost. Horses, bird-watching, boating, TV, of course. The beach,camping,quading. My Red Hat Chapters. I used to windsurf, and I'd like to take it up again. Been happily to my hubby, John for nearly 20 years!

    Christian music mostly. Creed is my all-time favorite! Now, obviously, it is Scott Stapp Band!!!!Dave Matthews Band, alternative music, Big Band music,Motown. Really all music, as music truly is the melody of life. Up-DATE! Creed is back together, sooo, fav. band-that's right, you guessed it- CREED!

    Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, all Richard Gere movies. All Julia Roberts movies. Diary of a Mad Black Woman, anything by Tyler Perry! Fried Green Tomatoes, and movies from TCM!

    Torchwood!!!!BURN NOTICE, In Plain Sight, DEXTER, CSI, CSI Miami, Criminal Minds, House of Payne, Meet the Browns, NCIS, Monk, Psych, Burn Notice, Deadliest Catch, Boston Legal. Really, probably not enough room to list all the shows I like.

    My real life heroes are my Linda Johanson, my Grandmother, and my Aunt Judy, and Jesus. T.V Heroes: Captain Jack Harkness WOW!!!!He is certainly the consumate super-hero, and certainly not hard on the eye! Vivy from Side Order of Life Horatio Cane from CSI Miami. Denny Crane!!!! He's hysterical! Musice heroes: Scott Stapp, as he really helped me make lemonade out of lemons, and shared with the world some very powerful lyrics!
