Featuring a wide array of programming that feature Indie Rock, Punk, Hip Hop, Metal, World, Jazz, and a few Talk shows, CJLO aims to bring you a more underground mix of music. Our goal is to promote new and up-and-coming musicians as well as continuing to support the big names in the underground/indie music scene. (check the CJLO schedule for more details and show times).
We're also all about promotions, man... We've put together or co-sponsored local events featuring bands like Braid, Ion Dissonance, Murder by Death, Maximum RNR, Offsides, M.O.T.O., The Hot Springs, etc. Seriously, we're a promotional machine, people.
We even host an online magazine where our staff routinely contributes reviews, features and interviews. Our charts can be viewed there as well.
Well, lil' pardner...our staff is just a big ol' huggable gang of music geeks. Our goal is to get some good tunes (and times) out there for fellow music geeks starving for some rad tuneage in this homogenized, Top-40 saturated radio-land in which we live in. Good tunes is out there, and CJLO packages it, wraps it up, and puts a neat little bow on it for ya. Pretty cool, eh? Awwww, we think so too.
