About me:

I'm CJ Lyons, award-winning medical suspense author. I'm trained in pediatric emergency medicine and use this experience to write gritty medical suspense featuring the women of Pittsburgh's Angels of Mercy Medical Center.

Who I'd like to meet:

People who love to read and talk about books and discover new authors! Also, first responders, medical professionals, and law enforcement officers who would like to share their stories.

My novels are edgy with realistic medical details and reflect my own experiences as a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician. I've also worked as a victim's advocate and have assisted police and prosecutors with cases involving child abuse, sexual assault, homicide and Munchausen's by Proxy.

So, if you want a peak behind the scenes at what really goes on in an urban hospital, look for LIFELINES, WARNING SIGNS, and URGENT CARE at your favorite bookstore! They'll be in the general fiction/literature section (near Moby Dick).
