Animation Producer - Character Designer - Toy Designer -Writer - Actor: Mr.Jones is the Producer of the hit animated series “The Boondocks” for Sony Pictures Entertainment. Where he was instrumental in developing the show’s current anime aesthetic that was combined with its “Chapelle Show” brand of comedy. The first program televised by Cartoon Network to win a Peabody Award as well as being nominated for a NAACP Image Award. He has also developed an animated property for Roc-A-Fella Films called “The Playpen,” and Produced a sketch comedy show under Aaron Mcgruders company Partner Rumble called “The Super Rumble Mix Show” for Turner/Adult Swim that is set to be released this year. He is currently lending his talents to another animated show for Adult Swim called “The Crook’d Sipp” featuring Hip-Hop megastar David Banner. During his career in animation he has also helped bring many characters to life as a spectacular voice-over actor. Starring in animated series along side award winning talent such as Samuel Jackson, Regina King and John Witherspoon. In 2007, Carl released a signature line of designer toys called the “Hoodiez” that have been sold all over with great success. The endearing figurines have appeared in commercials for both Mountain Dew and Pizza Hut and were recently purchased by clothing designer Marc Ecko for exclusive distribution in his stores worldwide. Prior to that Carl has lent his creative talents to Warner Bros. Motion picture “ATL” and also to Warner Bros animated campaign promoting the movie “House of Wax”. Mr. Jones has partnered up with former CEO and Chairman of Fox Studios Bill Mechanic and Aaron Mcgruder to produce an animated Feature called “Chuck” that’s being produced at Pandemonium Films. He has been integral in developing synergistic entertainment and urban properties with the NBA such as an animated project titled “Small Frys” through I AM Entertainment whose fall film release “Patriots” stars Academy Award Winner Forest Whitaker.
