Transylvania Radio, Casey James and The Staypuft Kids latest concept-pop offering, creeps through radio static as a faux nineteen thirties horror RADIO DRAMA.
Transylvania Radio is an psychedelic journey of spooky pop and ass to the floor rhythms swirling in a witches brew of fifties r'n'b spring reverb, bowed saws, harpsichord, banjo, upright bass, Moog synthesizer and, with and without exaggeration, the kitchen sink.
Think Abbot and Costello meet Bella Lugosi (in his '52 Mercury) , hitchhiking to Brian Wilsons 18th century costume ball, tucked into some dark Detroit warehouse... Thump, thump... Thump, Thump... Four heartbeats on the floor with a sinister swagger.
The CD includes 9 songs and 17 tracks of horrifyingly tasty mysteries.
