in 2004, one of them said, "why don't you join myspace?" i was like, "no." then i did anyway because i remembered the time the words "i don't need email" came from my mouth. started checking out people's profiles and thought it was cool that you could customize your profile by learning those code thingies. using what little photoshop knowledge i developed from trying to help my friends so they could concentrate on their music, and with no html knowledge, i started by learning the IMG SRC code and was so proud of myself when the link actually worked. i went bananas i say. so it began. this intense curiosity with design. i started looking up band postings of gigs on their bulletins and pretended like they actually asked me to design a flier for them. if I liked it enough, id send it to them. sometimes but not always, they'd use it.
and the rest is...now. for as long as ive made designing a part of my life, ive been on myspace. and in a sense, if you've been keeping up with me on here, you have been a part of it. a special thanks to the aforementioned - you should know that you are everything this page is. so, i couldn't say my dream is to design for the rest of my life because its not. design has become this way i thankfully stumbled upon to help friends explain their dreams. that by putting it in pretty-picture form, whoever sees it will understand it and give them a chance. check out my portfolio below to see some of my favorite creations since joining myspace.

  DESCRIPTION. open mind. open heart. easily inspired. need to create. encourager but not a flatterer. intuitive. absolutely in love with life's many PERSPECTIVES. a go-getter. anticipating life's next punchline. my dog says hi.banana and mayonnaise. unretired myspace addict. WITH FRIENDS. "show me your friends and i'll tell you who you are." i like giving people a chance to be a friend - because everyone (including me) has baggage. kinda like that thing teachers did: "you start off with an A" deal. hence, its pretty easy for me to call you a friend. all it takes is a simple hello. by the second time we meet, if by some odd reason we remember each other's name, then, i consider you a friend of mine. seriously. WITH PEOPLE. i am the type of person who likes looking into your eyes in conversation. i was not always like this. it was at some random point in my adolescent days, that i enjoyed this kind of connection. some find this situation with me to be a little uncomforable...lol. don't worry...i'm not in love with you :) i just like the purity of seeing people. i like to give people my undivided attention when i look at you because you are all experts at living to me and have experiences i wanna learn from. WHO I'D LIKE TO MEET. anyone who isn't afraid to take a chance. anyone who doesn't believe in wasted time. anyone whose passion includes bringing positivity to people's dreams. MY HOPE. to be creative for the rest of my life // to be creative with the rest of my life  WHAT ARE YOU? i get this question a lot and it confuses me as to what they're referring to. because for some reason, my brain follows that question with the quote, "...some kind of monster." i don't know if i heard it from a movie...eh. anyway, i am filipina with a tiny bit of spaniard. I SAW YOU ON _____'S FRIENDLIST? ARE YOU FAMOUS? no. just computer-geeky enough to catch people's attention. DO YOU HAVE AIM?yes i do. but i only have like 30 people on my BL. i don't give out my AIM SN. I DON'T SEE YOU ON? WHEN ARE YOU ON MYSPACE? really? hit refresh and check again. as one myspace friend put it, "i see you're not offline again." WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS ON? surprisingly, all my work happens to be myspace-related. ARE YOU SINGLE? by this, if you mean whether or not i'm two people, the answer is yes i'm not two people. WHY HAVEN'T YOU RESPONDED TO MY EMAIL? i enjoy hearing from you guys and i respond to as much as i can. please be patient w/ me and refrain from negative comments if i haven't replied to you yet. if there's anything i will NEVER do is reply to you with words of negativity. i counter negativity w/ silence. that's how i am in real life so i won't be any different here. im not gonna be bolder here just because its the internet and i can't see your face. thanks to those who've been understanding. DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN? i did not take any classes for this stuff. not to say you shouldn't, i just didn't. i'm highly experimental and that seems to be enough. what i didn't learn in school, i made up for in my own mistakes...hehe. but if someone out there wants to mentor or fine-tune me, im down :) IS THAT REALLY YOUR PROFILE? please be aware that these are the only profiles which you should know belong to me: youtube | twitter | facebook | myspace music | buzznet YOU SEEM ALL OVER THE PLACE.  Diamonds or pearls? waste of money. What did you have for breakfast? water and soggy graham crackers. What foods do you dislike? lots of plants. What is your favorite chip flavor? salt and vinegar. Favorite sandwich? chicken carbonara from quizno's. What characteristic do you despise? non-enthusiasm. Favorite item of clothing? my grey sweatshirts. so comfy. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? a deserted island. so that when asked the question, "if you were on a deserted island..." i can say, "been there. done that." Favorite brand of clothing? don't really pay attention to brand names. Where would you retire to? anywhere as long as i have my laptop, guitar and camera. Favorite time of the day? 3pm because i get to see ellen degeneres dance. never fails to brighten my afternoon. Where were you born? made and born at geary boulevard in San Francisco. Do you have any pets? many. i've never not had a pet. i need them because they remind me of all that is good in the world. i envy their hearts. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share with your family & friends? i don't share new and exciting news unless i know that you know me enough not to take it as bragging. Do you have any children? nope. i am not good with kids because i don't know what to do with them when they cry. i tend to offer them candy even when i don't have any. 3 Things you are passionate about?
