25 Year old Claire Booth is a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist from Worthing, West Sussex. Writing her own material from the age of 11 and playing guitar from the age of 10 Claire has always had a great passion for music. 'I've always loved music', she explains, 'and use it as a vessel to express myself'. Claire has a diverse range of influences and adopts her own style from a range of genres, mainly folky/acoustic guitar based music such as Joni Mitchell. 'I do however have a love for rock music', she explains, 'so my own material certainly has an edge to it'.
Claire has seriously studied music since the age of 14 and has successfully completed courses at Chichester College and the Acadamy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford. She has been seen gigging around the Worthing and Chichester areas since the age of 19 and has thoroughly enjoyed the experience. In order to gain more recognition Claire has recently entered the 'Live and Unsigned' music competition and was successful in making it to the regional finals in Brighton.
