Claire Brosseau has traveled all over the world doing stand-up comedy, theatre, musicals, films & television. She has been a featured comedian on "entertainment tonight",“The Strombo Show”, Much Music’s “Video On Trial”, "The Laugh Attack" on XM radio, and the daytime talk show, “The Gill Deacon Show”. She was also listed as one to watch in 2006- an up and coming comic in the Montreal arts weekly, The Hour magazine. Brosseau performed at the Just For Laughs festival’s 25th anniversary. In 2007, the readers of The Montreal Mirror voted for her as one of their favorite actresses. She studied improv with Toronto’s Second City, and graduated from New York City’s renowned Neighborhood Playhouse School Of The Theatre. In 2003, she was nominated for ‘best actress’ for a MECCA award for her performance in the play, Marion Bridge. Her performance alongside juliet stevenson & daniel stern in the film, "a previous engagement" earned her critical acclaim. Claire’s singing voice can be heard on several soundtracks for film & television. She currently lives in Toronto, and works as an actor, comedy writer, a singer, and a stand-up comedian. she can currently be seen in the comedy series, "the business" on TMN (canada) & IFC (USA), and the up-coming comedy features, "who is KK downey", "girl’s best friend" & thriller, "the love of her life".
