Claire spent her whimsical childhood in Owen Sound, ON, and she began composing seriously at the age of three. Throughout high school, she established herself as a major creative force in the Ontario folk music scene, winning awards for her songwriting and performing, and winning the hearts many of audiences. You may remember her from such television programs as TVO’s Studio 2 (June 23, 2005), and as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live (December 9th 1978). She currently divides her residence between Hokkaido Japan and London Ontario, where she is completing degrees in Music History and Popular Music Studies. In addition to her musical abilities, Claire is also a master of Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, and looks forward to launching S.P.O.T., her own line of clothing and accessories in the fall.
