I love Music! Music is my life! I have a wide variety of musical tastes, but the song has to tell a story, preferably with understandable lyrics. My vast likes include artists such as: James Taylor, Rascal Flatts, Phil Vasser, Luthor Vandross, Yanni, Mika, Taylor Hicks, Paul Potts, Kirk Franklin, Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Billy Joel, Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson. I listen to rhythm and blues, jazz, gospel, disco, doowop, and always romantic crooners, and can't forget to mention, the eternal Elvis.

Heroes
My heroes are anybody who put themselves out there, who reach out to assist others without the need for thanks. I admire the theme of, "Pass It On." We should all try to be heroes in our own world.

I'm a 53 year old woman who woke up one day to find out, "body snatchers," visited overnight and replaced my 24 year old body with some 52 year old woman's body, and I'm not too happy about it. Still my enthusiasm and zest for life hasn't diminished. I'm a wife, a mother of three talented and beautiful adults, a retired pediatric nurse, and a full-time writer. I'm a hopeless romantic, and write romance, "twilight zone," type stories, thriller stories and of course essays on life. My sense of humor is a strong point of my personality. For example, I have created weekly answering machine messages, (for years) which initiated strange people calling me up just to hear my recordings. They have embarassed my children when they were younger but amused their friends. I adore nature's beautiful scenery, can watch sunsets and wildlife for hours, getting such a thrill as if it was the first time I've viewed them. A keen love for music stirs my soul like nothing else and I attempt to incorporate a theme centered around music when I can in my writings. I love to talk and people watch, because my imagination and curiousity is still as pure as a young child. As an adult I've experienced a lot of turmoil and tragedy during my lifetime, but managed to be a survivor and rise above it all. I abhor liars and attempt to live life with honesty because of past experiences. I do believe in God and have empathy towards people, sometimes too much sympathy when I view the terrors some people endure. As I mentioned before some body snatcher's stolen my physical youthfulness but they forgot to steal my mind. In my dreams I soar across a stage, dance and sing my heart out to my encouraging fans. In life, I hope I leave a warm impression on everyone who crosses my path. So sit back and enjoy the romantic music of my life!

"Autism is the fastest growing developmental disability in the U.S. As more is learned about the disorder, more resources for patients and caregivers are being developed. One of these resources is a new anthology, Voices of Autism: The Healing Companion: Stories for Courage, Comfort and Strength, which chronicles the stories of more than 40 families living with autism including, Claire Luna-Pinsker, a local resident of Tobyhanna, PA.
Each contributor shares a poignant, heartfelt and often inspiring true account of experiences with autism spectrum disorders, from the frustration of an autistic teenager unable to speak, yet knowing he is being left out of conversations in “The Price of Talk,” to the sadness and fear of a mother as her son becomes a man in “Postpartum Blues Plus Twenty.”"

Aromatherapy Day
Each day I arise to another day and start the daily drive.
I go down the mountain and up a rise and sigh, "Oh so lovely."
Whoever wrote purple mountains majesty had to be sitting where I am today.
I view the mountainline, the shifting designer clouds, and the brilliant color sky
and cry, "Oh so lovely!"
And my son growls and complains, "Keep your eyes on the road."
He mutters, "You saw this yesterday and the day before."
I ignore him and struggle at a light to capture the morning sky.
I greet my daughter with a morning photo of the clouds dancing
in the sky and text, "Isn't this lovely?"
She texts back, "It's clouds, keep your eyes on the road."
I text back, "The beauty I see today, I will never see again in time."
My son growls, "The lights green, go!"
My daughter texts back, "You're so nuts, drive!"
And so I drive, but still I sigh, "Oh it's so lovely!"

MOM'S LOVE FOR AN ASPERGER'S SYNDROME CHILD
At night when the house is silent and calm, I sigh with relief and gasp, "I love him, I love him, Lord knows I love Him."
My motherly love is sorely stretched at times and I find myself asking, "Can I really go on?"
A day of literal confrontations and one physical tantrum may cause me to scream out, "Why me? Why him?"
After he's resting I can sit back and laugh, "Well the puppy survived though his whiskers did not."
This Asperger's a wise one gifting my son with a high I.Q. and I ponder, "Whose smarter my son or am I?"
His impulses and energy sap mine all the time as I explain for the fifth time, "You can't punch holes when you're mad."
Each day is a fresh start when he bounds from his room at six and I turn to the clock and growl, "Please, I just closed my eyes."
I watch him eat his meal with his hands and offer an idea, "Why not use your spoon?"
The fork goes flying, the bowl crashes to the floor and I grit my teeth and say, "What a wonderful start to this day."
Later at school when I'm called to assist, he runs to me smiling when I reprimand, "The teacher knows her duties. You can't dismiss the class."
I watch him when he stands alone on the side and I find myself crying, "Please just someone say hello and be his friend."
The doctors, the medicine, the therapies, the time, and I question, "Can Asperger's ever be cured?"
I am his mother so my well of love refills but I keep praying, "Lord, I'll do my best with my Asperger son as long as you keep filling up the well."
MY MOTHER PASSED FROM THIS EARTH NOVEMBER 26 1995. HOLIDAYS ARE WHEN I PARTICULARLY MISS HER. I DEDICATE MY SITE TO YOU MOM! BELOW IS MY LAST HOLIDAY PHOTO OF MY MOTHER.

Before my mother and sister died, they never had the chance to fulfill their dreams. One was too timid to shine and one's life was cut off before she could shine. After going through several serious illnesses, I realized that today is your moment. Today, because tomorrow's never promised. So don't be afraid to shine, reach out and enjoy the beautiful moments of today. I hope this video inspires you to go for it, reach for your dream. I dedicate this video to all your loved ones who lost their lives before they had a chance to shine.
Who I'd like to meet: People who are full of life, who love to share experiences, opinions, dreams and desires. I want to meet people who see humor in life but also tear up over life's sorrows. I'd like to meet people who want to say a friendly hello, make this world a little smaller and friendlier. As a writer of course, I'd like to share ideas with others who are creative literally, artistically or musically. Being a survivor of child abuse, I'd like to share other survival stories or reach out and offer an open ear. Being a mother of a son diagnosed with asperger's syndrome, high functioning autism, I'd like to reach out and share similiar experiences.
Dear Lord, Today we honor our veterans, worthy men and women who gave their best when they were called upon to serve and protect their country. We pray that you will bless them, Lord, for their unselfish service in the continual struggle to preserve our freedoms, our safety, and our country’s heritage, for all of us. Bless them abundantly for the hardships they faced, for the sacrifices they made for their many different contributions to America’s victories over tyranny and oppression. We respect them, we thank them, we honor them, we are proud of them, and we pray that you will watch over these special people and bless them with peace and happiness. In Jesus’ name we pray; Amen.
