   About Clapham Omnibus

Clapham Omnibus is an artist, and a philistine. He is intelligent, and a fool. He is loved, and he is despised. He is cool, and he is a loser. He is a leader, and he is a follower. He is a warmonger, and he is a hippy. An obese old man, and a starving young child. He is a Christian, a Muslim, a Jew, a Buddhist, a Hindu, and an Atheist. He is George Bush, and he is John Kerry, and he is Saddam Hussein. He is a fireman in New York and he is Osama Bin Laden. He is determined, and he is confused. He is you, and he is me.

The music here was inspired by life, by death, by humanity, by inhumanity, by love, by hate, by forgiveness, by bitterness, by the "Other" which is often referred to as God (or Jehova, or Allah, or one of his many other names), by existence without the Other, by beauty, and by those times when beauty is the last thing we see. This world is so beautiful... and yet, at times, a complete shit hole.

Sometimes the music just comes to me, and in such instances, the music speaks to me the same way it speaks to you. Other times, the music is developed through sweat, blood, and tears. And in the process, in the journey, in the wandering of the search for art and beauty, something that wasn't now is. In the same way creation myths and legends start with chaos that is shaped in to what is existence, music comes from the chaos of ideas, notes, sounds, and words to become existence. I am not so proud a man to claim such creation as my own, for we all contribute. I alone am not Clapham. We are Clapham.

Mr. Clapham and Mr. Wembly Shadwell are dear friends and can often be seen enjoying and playing music together.

Oh yeah plus the its overall structure is very well thought out with a collected intro and an explosive but still controlled ending.

I must note what an enthrilling song "we were alone" is. Its like that high riff speak of some kindda holy sadness/a trace of hope/raw power. Nice

chicago. hmm, other than not having a job, yet, it's alright. I feel like there's so much in chicago that I don't know what to do with it. So many people in chicago, I don't know where to start investing my life. I can't wait to get going musically.

People shouldn't treat music as background noise for their leisure activity. It's like treating music as porno music. I miss those days, late at night dropping weights onto the ground, asking our managers to grab us some tea. the nights of struggling to produce music but too tired to be inspired by what we're playing. I miss the feeling we had in the barn. It gave us magic to write whatever we wanted. A high so strong that left many going through the painful period of withdrawals. Jon, you need to fix december 22nd. unless you moved on. Why am I commenting to you? Because the music kept me sitting still to listen and I wanted to say hello and to tell you that I did not forget you.

Hey!
another week, another new tune. this one is definitely a feel-good summertime rocker... and we're posting it in spite of the fact that it snowed here last night. yeah, that's right. snow. in April. lamest weather system ever. anyway... if you can spare three minutes and sixteen seconds, you should give the new track a spin.

peace and love.

Hey, amigo, how are those wings of yours?
Good.

Listen, I found Niribu.
(Plant X, Death Star, Kronos, Cal El's Home, Heaven etc etc )
Or should I say, Nibiru found me.

I wrote a poem last year reflecting the
Cities in the skies created by the angels of Nibiru
But I never expected Nibiru to arrive so early.
Here's the poem

Laputa

Traveling those seven seas we do,
For the tips of the earth and beyond,
One million strong,
Sweet soul`d adventurers,
With falcon hearts to the helm of the sun,

Our great city young much older than those,
That with Time's clear whisper,
Wither impure from hustle to dust,
Within centuries across,
These fine lands of Gaia,
As people will do fall,
For new to be followed,

Only above the seas in breath,
Do wandering eyes take in all that sweat,
Of the dealers and shakers,
Collectors and runners,
As fast paced arenas do,
Whilst ever sweltering for meaning,

Yet.

I saw the wild map,
Of the players that in hat,
Layered many old ruins,
Over many other eons,
That dream back to dust,
We hold the machine that liveth,
That counts timelines of Id,
And puts this City,
This Paradise in the Skies,
In position advantage,

For we hold the eye,
That sees interlocking,
Thus purpose in thee,
Over cities one other,
Via greater history's sake,
Unlocked the codes reality makes,
And found,
This treasure born,

In dimension every time and nowhere sworn,

And we set sails to capture this?
This Jewel of the stars this,
Pattern laddered blue crystal geometric ounce,
Of God's will in the electrical moment,
For sparks do flare,
Heavens asked of the air,
To dance them,
To dance,

Yes we seek this treasure,
And we have the map complete,
before 2012 them eyes will open,
And nobody but us do free it today,
As golden claws arrive land side,
Come greet us,
We only sigh,

But when portals sing,
One will see us kin,
And then knowledge will be opened ken,

Till then my cousins,
Till that opening once said.
Amour.
