The name to remember is Clare, but most call me Clarebear.
I probably look up to the Beatles and Bob Dylan more than most people you know.
I'm going to school studying English and Journalism. Being a music journalist is my ideal, but I would also love to teach English as a second language.
I probably know more music trivia than the next yahoo on the street. You can test me on it.
I sometimes go out of my way for bad music just to make myself feel better by having a good laugh. It also gives me a sense of superiority when it comes to writing abilities.
Music and writing are my addictions.
I believe country music is the absolute worst genre known to man.
Sometimes when I'm bored, I mentally diagram sentences.
I have a serious addiction to "The Sopranos" and I think Christopher Moltisanti is one of the greatest characters to have ever been created.
I am all about family and am the sixth born of eight. There are no half-siblings, no step-siblings, and no adoptions there; my family is the real deal.
I have a beautiful nephew named Andrew.
I'm mostly Italian.
I have a weakness when it comes to Italian men; I always find them attractive.
I come from an artistic family: my dad cooks, my ma is a freelance artist, and almost all of my siblings do something related to the arts.
I was raised to practice--and continue to do so--Roman Catholicism. I never miss Mass.
My best friend is the coolest Dominican. Her name is Cindy, and her son, Rey is the love of my life. I even wrote him a ghazal poem to prove it.
I'm feisty, but I'm still one of the easiest people to talk to and with whom you will get along.
I'm passionate.
It's impossible for me to talk without using my hands.
From February 2005 'till December 2007, I edited MCC's Center Campus publication ("Our Times") for Marie Masters. She's one of two of my all-time favorite professors and working for her has made one of the greatest impacts on my life. She also introduced me to Clark I. (AKA "(seriousprofessor)") and he has forever changed my life. They're the two greatest teachers and mentors I have ever had outside of my family.
I love to play pool and I'll cream you in Cut Throat and Nine Ball.
I enjoy a nice card game, especially gin and rummy.
I love to read, especially anything by David Sedaris.
I refuse to compromise my morals and beliefs for the sake of keeping ignorant others from getting angry at me.
I hate clowns.
I have a weakness for Italian food, especially when it's cooked by my dad.
Everyone who knows me will tell you that I am addicted to cannoli. They have to be the real deal with ricotta, NOT CREAM!
I'm obsessed with going for walks.
I love to learn.
I lose my patience with cold weather.
When I'm stressed, I often physically release the tension by baking and doing laundry.
I can't stand gossip and liars.
I hate it when my character comes into question.
Poor grammar and bad spelling are two major pet peeves of mine.
I often say random things.
I'm a sarcastic smartass.
I joke around a lot, so I apologize ahead of time if I say the wrong thing. However, I also know when to be serious.
I'm very loud and talkative most days.
I don't have the patience for ignorance, shady behavior, or most promises.
I'm known to be kind of stubborn, and by kind of, I mean quite.
I don't add people I don't know.
The end.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who's interesting, Michael Stipe, Bob Dylan, Bill Cosby, Joel McHale, James Franco, Special Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, the cast of Monty Python, Amy and David Sedaris, Jasper Fforde, and the mastermind behind the cannoli.
hey Clare =) Thank You! How is your knee? How is everything else going? I work Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7-7 so youll have to stop by and say hello! Hope all is well and that you had a good summer!
Let me warn you not to make the same mistake as me......Most universities will only take like 64 credits, that was about half of mine, i wasted a lot of time and money at macomb. Look into schoalrships and financial aid. were you born before 1986? thats one big thing in the FAFSA. Just go online and apply and see what happens.
Well I was really excited to start this semester at Oakland but with the whole strike and everything I'm hoping to start monday. Im set to graduate Dec 2011!
This means that Andrea shows quite hopeful signs of being warped. With the d-----d Jucifer, more subtle methods will be necessary, such as a loop tape played while she sleeps.
