Films I JUST DON'T GET: 1/ Da Vinci Code - interesting theory, but an appalling book (not that I got past ch.4, nor with Angels and Demons neither), and an even worse film. Hanks the Plank. Yet when I walked out of the theatre, everyone else was gushing. Is it just me??? Listen up people - Dan Brown cannot string a non-cliched sentence together!! 2/ The Matrix -looks good, I just don't get it 3/ Donnie Darko - again, sort of amazing but utterly unfathomable to me although Jake G is tres sexy. 4/ 12 Monkeys - have fallen asleep trying to watch it - 3 times now!
