About me:

Welcome to my beautiful world of soulful vinyl grooves. I started spinning 45's in my bedroom in 1967. Having brought my first record in 1964 a Beatles EP. I used to spin a few records at a friend's mobile disco in the early 70's. Northern Soul was all the rage in the Midlands, then I moved to London and it was all the laid back singer songwriters and the begining of country rock in early 70's. In 1977 was given a lunch time radio show on LHB (London Hospital Boardcasting), and in the evenings I was a warm up DJ for a mobile disco. I was trapped by pop music of the day, there was not much scope for my board music tastes. When the opportunity openned up to play specialised music clubs I knew I had found my natural music home. Some my favotite songs are: King With out a Queen - Dion; Cry, Cry, Cry -Johnny Cash; The Book of Love - The Monotones; Dark Side Of The Street - James Carr; Scratchy - Travis Wammack; Why - Lonnie Mack; Sugar Shack - Fireballs; Love Is A Hurting Thing - Lou Rawls; Please Help me I'm Falling - Hank Locklin; If I Could Only Win Your Love - The Louvin Brothers; Hushabye - The Mystics; Manhattan Spiritual - Reg Owen Orchestra; Green Onions - Booker T & MG's; There Stands a Glass - Webb Pierce; You Can Make Me Sing, Dance or Anything - The Faces; Afterglow of Your Love - The Small Faces. .. .. ..

Who I'd like to meet:

The woman of my dreams!
