.. Find me on MySpace and be my friend! CLASH OF WARRIORS is a mixed martial arts (MMA) organisation that opened the doors to its first show on 14th July 2007 at the ISIS night club in Nottingham. It included fighters such as Henrique Cesar from Brazil, Karsten Lenjoint from Nottingham and Paul Kelly from Liverpool who now fights for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Following the great success of its first show and with the fans wanting more, Clash of Warriors returned for its second show on 23rd March 2008, this time at the Portland Sports Centre in Nottingham. Once again, there was a fantastic turnout and tremendous support from Clash of Warriors’ growing fan base. With two great shows under its belt, Clash of Warriors soon announced that its third show, "JUDGEMENT DAY”, would be held on 29th June 2008 at the Victoria Sports Centre in Nottingham. With fantastic fights, an even greater turnout and amazing fan support, the third show proved that CLASH OF WARRIORS was only getting bigger and better. 21st September 2008 saw CLASH OF WARRIORS 4: DELIVERANCE, returning once again to Nottingham’s Victoria Sports Centre and with another great line-up of fighters. This was followed several months later by the fifth show, CLASH OF WARRIORS 5: TOUGH ENOUGH which took place on 8th March 2009. The card for this event included fighters from all over the world, and featured a title fight between Christian Smith and Mamarizoev Jahongir from Lithuania as the main event – a fight that Smith won after coming back from a near knockout early on at the beginning of the fight. Now firmly established as one of the UK's most popular, up-and-coming MMA organisations. CLASH OF WARRIORS 6: ROUGH AS HELL was held on 14th June 2009. Nottingham’s Victoria Sports Centre once again played host, as it did for CLASH OF WARRIORS 7 "NO WAY OUT" held on 5th September 2009. The seventh show featured Judo Jim Wallhead vs Lithuania’s Marius Buzinskas, and “Ultimate Fighter” season 9 contender Martin Stapleton vs Ashley Smith. CLASH OF WARRIORS 8: BATTLEGROUND took take place on 21st November 2009 at the Victoria Sports Centre in Nottingham, England, and included Christian Smith vs Andrejs Zozulja from Latvia, Karsten Lenjoint vs Jurijs Karpenko, also from Latvia and Pete McGurk from England vs Venceslau Rangel from Brazil. CLASH OF WARRIORS 9: FACE-OFF will be held on 6th March 2010, the venue again being the Victoria Sports Centre in Nottingham, England. The card will feature Judo Jim Wallhead, Martin Stapleton, Venceslau Rangel, among many others.
